PM, Newcastle. What can I say, other than totally gob smacked by the entire place and great value for money. The villa is superb - the website is extremely accurate, what you see is what you get! Pure luxury and exactly what we were looking for. Everything from the towels to the bedding are top quality. We instantly fell in love with the place and were so glad that it was available for our week. We were that impressed we did not pick up our deposit - we just left it with Susie for our next visit which was booked while staying at Villa Paraiso - roll on September!! Book early, you do not want to miss out on this one I promise!! JW Scotland: Last morning waking up to beautiful hills on all sides, a picture in our minds we won't forget in a hurry.  Thank you

BM Cheshire: We all really enjoyed our stay at Paradise. It is a beautiful villa in a fantastic village. I can strongly recommend the villa and I hope that we will be able to return next year.  Many thanks

MC Staffordshire: One word…. Wow!! What a fantastic villa, it's even more beautiful in the flesh than the pictures. A truly stunning villa, in a perfect village. Susie was amazing too, we had a guest in a wheelchair and also a guest needed medical assistants during our stay and Susie couldn't have been more accommodating, she really was fantastic. We were a party of 12 adults and the house was more than big enough to accommodate us all, we would defiantly return!

GD, Halstead:  Thanks to you for our stay in your villa, we all had a lovely relaxed time, we wished we could have stayed an extra week.

AM, Sunderland:  Well what can I say and how can I thank you, we absolutely adored your villa and truly cannot tell you how depressed we are to be home.  The welcome pack and maxi bar was just fantastic, we truly did not leave the villa as we had everything at our fingertips. Thanks for arranging our taxi with Ali.  I am already thinking about a return to Benahavis, and it would only be if it was staying at your villa. Really cannot find words to describe how fantastic we found your villa, your help and hospitality and the fabulous villa.  Oh and yes, we did the jeep safari was amazing, Marco is just crazy!!!

GM, Aberdeen: Thanks again for allowing us to lease your gorgeous villa we really did have a great time. Great news you are planning to lease it out again next year.

JR, Manchester: Villa Paraiso was everything that we had hoped for and more. Susie's hospitable welcome to her home made sure that my 5 year old knew where the dressing up clothes were and that my 80 year old father was comfortable in his own 'suite'. The villa has everything to ensure a comfortable stay including abundant outdoor areas with shade, sun, comfy chairs, sun loungers and a fantastically stocked 'maxi-bar'. Everyone was happy, including the teenagers, with the combination of the villa and what Benahavis had to offer. Would be delighted to go there again.

JR, Manchester: My other holiday plans have fallen through and everyone enjoyed the week in Benahavis so much and thought the house was so wonderful (Daisy particularly liked the dressing up clothes) that we thought it would be good to just come back (not something I usually do).

KB Aberdeenshire: Just wanted to write and thank you for all the help you gave us in organising everything for our holiday to your superb villa, even the directions from the Airport were easy to follow.  Having things like the high chair, push chair and child's seat for the car made it so much easier than carrying the stuff with us so for that thanks not to mention the toys.  The Villa itself is beautiful, especially the master bedroom with the fancy bath.  The Maxi Bar and Welcome pack were very welcome, a great idea and we did enjoy some great meals in that fantastic kitchen.  I will be asking for more dates for a summer break as we would love to sit by the pool in the summer heat although we did well for January with the sun and the Information Pack with things to do & places to go helped us to fill they rainy couple of days no problem.  Not to mention the golf courses and how many of them there is to choose from.  We enjoyed everything about the Villa and I look forward to coming back again, thanks for all your help.

DM Sussex:  Just returned from a week over new years at this lovely villa.  Being very fussy and always search for hours for the perfect villa we were not disappointed, in fact everything exceeded our expectations. The views were terrific, the kids played for hours in the garden and as we were experiencing unusually hot weather for this time of year they even braved the pool!  The extra large maxi bar did its job for 10 of us!  Well stocked and a lovely touch when you just want to chill on your first day.  Plenty of room to escape and read alone or plenty of room for 10 of us to eat comfortably inside or out and lots of areas to sit or sunbathe. The village is lovely, very friendly and loads of restaurants to choose from.  A bit of advice if anyone goes for New Years Eve is to book to eat in a restaurant, they all looked buzzing and full. We opted to try out a bar around the village square where we assumed there would be something going on, but it was like a scene out of John Wayne film with tumble weed blowing across the road! No one around at all!  Still, we all trotted back to the villa and celebrated for an hour later UK style!! A couple of minutes walk is a lovely rock pool where the boys spent hours fishing, also there is a frog walk that takes you all along the edge of the mountain and river but expect your feet to get wet! Can't wait until I go back, I feel there is so much to explore in this area and I wouldn't pick anywhere else to stay other than this villa!

JC, France: We gathered our far flung family together for an alternative Christmas in Benahavis and what a wonderful time we had. We couldn't have asked for a more delightful base. Villa Paraiso is beautiful home in an ideal location. Mountains, beaches, sporting facilities, great restaurants and all manner of other things to do or if you just want to relax then where better to do it than on one of the terraces surrounding the house or lying on a sun bed by the pool or in a hammock in the shade of a tree - even in December! Susie and Ian made us feel very welcome. The house was decorated for Christmas including a lovely Christmas tree. There was food in the fridge and enough wine and beer in the maxi bar to satisfy the thirstiest guests. They couldn't do enough to help - even sorting out our computer problems. We hope that we will have another opportunity to visit in the future. Perhaps in the summer when we could make use of the lovely pool.

JH, Derbyshire: Our two week stay in Villa Paraiso was superb, excellent location and great amenities.  Benahavis is a wonderful little village, but don't let the word "little" put you off, there's everything you need and more there! This was our second stay in Benahavis, our first was at a hotel but we opted for self catering this time so that we could take advantage of the excellent restaurants in the village or just do our own thing and relax with a drink whilst we barbecued...The villa itself is wonderful and even though we were a group of 10 people there are plenty of quiet corners to relax with a book, the hammock to snooze away an hour or two in the dappled shade of the trees or plenty of sun loungers for the sun worshippers of the group without feeling like you're in each other's pockets. .The terraces are great too, with each of them catching the sun at different times of day it's always possible to find a sunny nook to enjoy your morning coffee or a long G&T as a sun downer .. The standard of surroundings and service are second to none, Susie picked us some Figs one morning whilst she was caring for the garden and even provided us with a recipe for them, its little touches like these that make all the difference when it comes to relaxing on your holiday. Benahavis is brilliantly located with Marbella and all its glitz only minutes away, historic Ronda 40 minutes drive and the laid back vibe of Tarifa with its kite surfers and maze of side streets within easy reach you're spoilt for choice when it comes to days out! All in all it's a lovely villa in a lovely village in a lovely part of the world and one that we hope to visit again (I'm already planning a visit with friends for a motorcycling tour of Andalucía!)

GD, Halstead:  Thanks to you for our stay in your villa, we all had a lovely relaxed time, we wished we could have stayed an extra week.

SK, Preston: Just a little note to say how much we enjoyed our week in Villa Paraiso. It is beautiful and we decided if it was ours we would be more precious about letting strangers stay there! Everything about it and the area suited us just perfectly, and of course the weather helped. We have come home to grey skies and somewhat colder temperatures! We definitely hope we will return some time in the not too distant future as it was such a great holiday.

FG, London: Just to say what a relaxing comfortable week we've just had at your beautiful villa. With such a lot of space and plenty of things to do we never got in each other's way and kept losing Nana! The kids especially loved the pool and selection of DVDs which gave us all a break. If you'll have us back we'd like to rebook to come again this October. Many thanks for your kind hospitality.

PH, Scotland: Having spent a week in Villa Paraiso I can now fully appreciate the attraction of living in such a lovely little village. The Villa itself was ideal and very comfortable in every way with plenty of space for the whole family to enjoy and relax in. The villa has been finished off to a very high standard with quality fixtures and fittings throughout allowing a quality relaxing holiday. The photos on the website say it all really! The gardens and terraces provided a great peaceful outdoor space with lovely views and benefited from being secluded. Our welcome pack on arrival was a nice touch and provided us with a drink and light bite to eat after our long journey, just what we needed and was much appreciated. The village and itself was a picturesque little place steeped with culture and great views providing plenty things to explore. Benahavis had a friendly vibe and provided excellent pubs/restaurants with excellent food all at very reasonable rates. We also found numerous places to see and things to do in the surrounding areas for all the family. To conclude an excellent week's holiday that I would recommend to anyone whether looking for a relaxing week by the pool to an adventure packed trip! I would book again without hesitation.

HG, London: I just wanted to say a big thank you for the lovely holiday in the villa.  We all had a lovely time. The villa is beautiful and we were very comfortable. We had fantastic weather and it was the perfect environment for relaxation. The boys loved the swimming pool - in fact it was tricky trying to get them out of the pool at times (thank you for the various pool toys and balls you provided)! They also loved the hammock which was a good shaded space for the boys to relax. I must admit I was worried that we might get too hot at night, but the fans made it perfectly cool. Also the beds were very comfortable - we have stayed in some holiday houses where the beds have been uncomfortable and we have not slept well. The children's' rooms were great and they really loved having toys to play with. The town of Benahavis is lovely. We liked the children's' play area which was clean and safe and there was a great cafe there too - always a bonus to be able to have a coffee and a chat whilst the children play. We had a couple of meals out in the town, and our favorite place was La Sarten (really delicious food and the staff were very friendly and helpful - especially with the boys). I must admit that my favorite part of the villa was the seating area outside the kitchen. It was the best place to sit after supper and have a few drinks and chat as the evenings started to cool down.  Once again many thanks.

MS, Aberdeen: We have just returned from an excellent relaxing week at Villa Paraiso in Benahavis. The facilities were amazing, the villa is huge, with a lovely pool and plenty of outdoor seating. Benahavis itself is a great wee village with plenty of places to eat and some good pubs. Had a great week, Villa Paraiso is gorgeous. Thanks for the supply of the "not so mini" mini bar, it was a welcome addition to a very lazy holiday. From the practical side I would definitely recommend placing a food order with the local Supermarket Mercado, we did this a couple of days before we left Britain and it arrived as scheduled the morning after we arrived, taking the hassle out of trawling round the supermarket on your holidays. Thanks again for the use of your lovely villa, I'm sure anyone who books it won't be disappointed.

GM, London: We had a wonderful break in Villa Paraiso. The property is beautiful - a luxury home from home with loads of space for privacy, or entertaining. Everything you would need is at your fingertips so you almost don't need to leave the house! The village is very pretty, and immaculately maintained with a wide choice of excellent restaurants and municipal facilities. The rock pool and river walk is a great attraction, fun for all ages and 2 minutes walk from the front door. And it is a golfer's paradise, with many courses on the doorstep. We will definitely be coming back - thank you.

NS, London: We just wanted to say what a wonderful holiday we had whilst at your lovely house. We were very lucky to have stayed for 2 weeks and have such great memories of fun times during our stay. We especially loved your Avocadoes that were ripening before our eyes! We loved swimming in the pool and really appreciated all your help and knowledge on the surrounding area. A real treat was to make our own bread and homemade Pizzas in your glorious Kitchen. Thank you for everything! We wish you lots of luck in renting the house out in the future, which I am sure you will have no problem doing. We will certainly spread the word!

JS, London: Thanks very much for putting us in touch with the owners of Villa Paraiso. We just came back from a wonderful two week holiday in Villa Paraiso and miss it very much. We just came back from a wonderful two week holiday in Villa Paraiso and miss it very much. We had a wonderful time.)

ST, Bristol: Thanks for the great time we had at your house in Benahavis. The little extra touches like the 'mini bar' and welcome items were much appreciated! The house is fantastic - we were spoilt for choice when it came to 'which table shall we eat at? Inside or out? and was easy walking distance from the village (albeit up a fairly steep hill to start - at least it was downhill all the way back!). It was truly a home from home with every gadget and convenience you could wish for. Susie was readily on hand to answer our questions about where to visit and give directions, which was very helpful. The village has plenty of quality restaurants and creates a good atmosphere at night and was good for mooching on up for breakfast & coffee. We would particularly recommend a Jeep Safari trip with Marco from the village (safaridelsol.com) which took up off road into the mountains and his knowledge about the area was unbeatable. Ronda also well worth a visit, together with the must do's of Marbella & Puerto Banus. A great location for everyone - you can either chill by the pool or go off in search of beaches/shopping/nightlife/sightseeing. Highly recommended and certainly an area/property we would consider for the future.

DM, Aberdeenshire. It is with fond memories we will remember our holiday at Villa Paraiso. Everything was so easy! Before we even arrived we were able to order a 'food shop' - Tesco style, from the local grocery store. Susie helped out with a few e-mails before we arrived so we could plan as much as possible in the week we had there. On our arrival we were warmly greeted by with a bottle of wine and lit candles and as we were shown round the villa it immediately felt like home from home! With books and games to amuse the children, maps and local information for us to peruse, we couldn't have been off to a better start to a much needed holiday! The fridge and freezer had been stocked up beforehand, a bit like a mini-bar, so didn't have to rush out for the basics when we first arrived. The kitchen was well-equipped and when the boys asked for toasties, yes there was a machine for that too! The bedrooms were all great and the boys had no trouble settling in. The overhead fans kept everyone cool so we all had comfortable nights. The pool kept everyone happy and the huge garden was great to explore. We collected avocadoes and admired the beautiful views of scenery from all directions. We enjoyed the villa so much that we had to push ourselves to see the local area, but we weren't disappointed there either. We ate out at the local restaurants which catered for all ages and were so child-friendly it let us relax without worrying that the boys didn't like the food or atmosphere! The local park is beautiful and it is hardly surprising the locals are so proud of it. Ian and Susie took some of us down to the 'river run' - not for the faint-hearted, but an experience to be had none the less. Being half an hour away from Marbella, gave us an opportunity to see how the 'other half' live. It was great to see all the designer shops and huge yachts in the harbor, yet still be able to wander around in shorts and t-shirts, tourist-style, without feeling out of place. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Villa Paraiso. It had such a relaxing atmosphere and we were all able to chill out. There were no "I'm bored" comments and we all left to come home feeling like we could've stayed for just a wee bit longer! I think that sums it up really! Our many thanks for letting us stay in your beautiful villa. I would highly recommend anyone of any age to give Benahavis a try. And if the pool, and the views, and the restaurants, and the atmosphere, and the river run and everything else I've mentioned doesn't hit the mark......there's always the huge choice of golf clubs to try!!!!
